Getting Started

Everything you need to know to get started on JeriCraft, from joining the server and using essential commands to choosing a faction, starting jobs, protecting your land, and exploring the world.

Start Here: The Commands You Actually Need

If you only remember a handful of commands, make them these. They cover most of what a new player needs on day one.

Command What it does
/f home Teleport to your Faction’s home (in survival). This is your way back to base.
/spawn Teleport to the server spawn hub (the castle).
/rt (or /wild, /rtp) Teleport to a random location in the wilderness.
/back Return to your last location.
/dback Return to your death location. Useful for recovering your items after dying.
/kit View available kits. Use /kit <name> to redeem one.
/jobs Browse and join RPG jobs.
/mcmmo View your mcMMO skills and stats.
/help In-game help menu.

Lost in the wild? Try /f home first. If you’re in a faction with a home set, it will bring you straight back to base. If that fails, /spawn will always return you to the castle.

Getting Started with JeriCraft

1. Choose Your Faction

When you first join, you’ll want to join (or create) a Faction. Factions allow you to claim land, protect your assets,
and work together with others to dominate or defend the realm. Whether you seek to build a peaceful kingdom or lead an army
into battle, the choice is yours! To join a faction, simply ask around, or use the /f create command to create your own.
You can also use /f join <faction name> to join an existing one (if it’s open).

2. Get Your Kits

New players can claim free starting kits to help get them settled in the world. Use /kit to see what kits are
available, and /kit <name> to redeem one. The kits contain essential tools and resources like armor, food, and
weapons, making your survival in the wild much easier!

3. Start Your Jobs & Skills

JeriCraft offers a wide variety of RPG-style jobs and skills that let you specialize in different areas like
mining, fishing, farming, or even combat. Use /jobs to view the available options and start your journey in the
profession of your choice. You can also level up your skills using the mcMMO plugin with /mcmmo to unlock special
abilities and become more powerful!

4. Protect Your Land

Use the Factions Guide to learn how to protect your land and establish your base. In
JeriCraft, you can claim territory, build fortresses, and make sure no one can destroy what you’ve worked hard to build!

5. Explore the World

JeriCraft’s world is vast and full of resources, treasures, and dangers! To get started exploring, use /rt to teleport
to a random location in the wild or /warp to access key locations around the world. Don’t forget to stock up on
supplies before you venture far into the unknown!

Kits, Jobs/Skills, and Ranks /kit View available kits and their contents.
  /kit <name> Redeem a specific kit.
  /jobs Manage your RPG jobs and roles.
  /jobs quests View available job quests.
  /mcmmo View and manage your RPG skills and stats.
  /rankinfo Shows info about your current rank.
  /rankup Upgrade your rank by spending in-game currency.
  /ranklist Shows a list of possible ranks.
Economy & Trading /balance, /money Check your in-game currency balance.
  /pay <player> <amount> Send money to another player.
  /baltop Show the richest players on the server.
Communication /msg <player> <message> Send a private message to another player.
  /r <message> Reply to the last private message.
  /ignore <player> Ignore a player’s messages.
  /mail send <player> Send an offline message to a player.
  /mail read Read your received messages.
  /afk Toggle AFK mode.
Items & Inventory /ender Open your ender chest.
  /hat Place the item you’re holding on your head.
  /sit Sit on stairs, slabs, or carpets.
Miscellaneous /help In-game help menu.
  /rules View server rules and guidelines.
  /time Check the current in-game time.
  /weather Check the current in-game weather.
  /playtime Shows your playtime.
  /ping Shows your ping.
